Scéno Plus Designs a Technological Sensation in the Park Theater in Las VegasOn December 17th Stevie Nicks will inaugurate MGM Resorts International's new Park Theater, one of the most immersive theatre in the world. MGM Resorts International entrusted Scéno Plus, the Montreal-based firm behind the design of famous entertainment venues such as the Bellagio Theater, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and The Joint at Hard Rock Casino, to create an immersive theatre of the latest generation. Created to break boundaries, this one-of-its-kind, 5,200-seat multifunctional venue is equipped with various innovations that include a custom-made oversized proscenium arch of 7,800-sq.-ft. and an 80' long LED screen designed to receive immersive projections and custom video contents. In addition, MGM commissioned Scéno Plus to imagine visual content adapted to this exceptional technological tool as the company had just launched its new events and shows production division, Scéno Plus Production. The first venue on the strip showcasing the lobby's activity on an outdoor space and featuring a unique and strong architectural identity, the Park Theater is strategically nested between the famed Las Vegas Boulevard and the electrifying T-Mobile Arena. Extremely versatile, its fast turnover and flexibility allows the venue to receive touring artists, sporting events, conferences, banquets, and therefore maximize programming capacity. A media event with a property tour is scheduled December 6th in presence of the design firm.
