D.T.S Announces the Wonder -- a Double-Concentric Wall WashIn traditional wash lights, when the beam of a fixture is widened to illuminate a larger area, often, a darker spot is visible in the center. D.T.S has developed a lighting fixture which produces a pure uniform wall wash. The Wonder has two concentric zones. The central zone has independent control of the zoom, color control, strobe, and dimming. The two external rings are divided into three distinct sections having independent control of luminosity, color mixing, and strobe. Also, the Wonder features the free pan rotation system (FPR), which allows limitless pan rotation without interruption in either direction, never having to reverse motion. Just some of the Wonder fixture specifications include: 49 full color LEDs (RGBW); two concentric independent, high-efficiency optical groups (optical group 1: 3.5- to 52-degree long excursion linear motorized zoom and optical group 2: 8- to 52-degree long excursion linear motorized zoom); with 18,000 Lux at 5m (maximum luminosity). This new technology provides the user with four different LED fixtures in one. The company says with this kind of fixture the possibilities are endless with the brightness, smoothest, most uniform wall wash, providing lighting designers with an unlimited creativity.
