Staging Concepts Launches WeatherTec Platform

Staging Concepts, manufacturer of portable staging equipment, launches its newest product: The WeatherTec Platform. The company says it aims to be on the forefront of all-weather staging equipment -- with the new WeatherTec Platform designed to last and endure harsh outdoor conditions. Its 0% water absorption composite core and multiple aluminum skin construction protects the panel from rain and humidity.

Its enhanced weatherproof design makes it perfect for outdoor applications such as concerts, corporate events, VIP events, golf tournaments, pool covers, etc. Meeting the same quality and strength requirements of Staging Concept's flagship product -- the SC90 Platform, the WeatherTec Platform's load rating exceeds 150 lb/ft2 and has a Class "A" fire rating.

"As an alternative to our current Staging Concepts SC97 all-aluminum platform, we engineered our WeatherTec Platform to have improved sound dampening and aesthetic qualities," said Jon Chase, vice president of engineering.

The WeatherTec Platform comes in a standard black or gray quad textured polypropylene surface. A variety of other surface options are also available upon request. A full line of accessories are available, including supports, storage carts, guardrail, and other staging needs. The WeatherTec Platform is fully compatible with all other Staging Concepts equipment.
