Ayrton Releases WildBeam R at Prolight + Sound 2014Ayrton says it delights in the creation of unique products to broaden the lighting designers' palette of fixtures and expand the possibilities of "Light in Action." The company announces Ayrton will be releasing three new products for Prolight + Sound, running March 12 - 15 in Frankfurt. One of these products is the WildBeam R which will be presented at the show on the Ayrton stand, hall 9.0, booth E70. WildBeam R is a new addition to the Ayrton line. It couples seven individually controlled 15W RGBW LED emitters with brand new, 67mm collimators - what the company says is a world-première combination -- to create an astonishingly powerful, compact luminaire with a sharp 4.5-degree beam. Using less than 130W, including pan and tilt motors, WildBeam's optical output produces a 2,500 lumen shaft of light and hits 90% efficiency. WildBeam R's light engine is composed of seven 15W Osram Ostar RGBW LED emitters, which can be individually controlled to project a multitude of dynamic color effects in space and to animate the beam around a central point. Crisp delineation of the individual component beams remains perfectly distinct at all times. What's more, advanced three-phase stepper motors make WildBeam capable of snappy, dynamic moves. WildBeam R features: • Beam aperture: 4.5-degrees • High-efficiency 67mm PMMA optics • Seven multi-chip 15W RGBW LED sources • Very fast movements • Compact dimensions • Power consumption 130W max • Controllable via DMX and RDM • PowerCon True 1 in/out • DMX via XLR 5 in/out • 90% optical efficiency Ayrton is distributed in the US by Morpheus Lights.
