Drummer Boy Sound Productions Backs Tim Kaine with Martin AudioDemocratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine recently spoke to a group of government officials, dignitaries, and South Florida mayors via a Martin Audio speaker system provided by Drummer Boy Sound Productions of Miami, Florida. Kaine's speech at the Southwest Focal Point Community Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida focused on the theme of how the government could work more effectively with cities and local communities and the role small business played in rebuilding the economy. For the event, DBS supplied two Martin Audio W8VDQ compact, three-way differential directivity speaker systems and two XD12 high output two-way systems for back fill along with a Yamaha CL5 digital console and Shure MX412 gooseneck mics, the dais, lectern, lighting, bunting, pipe, and drapes. In terms of the audio quality, DBS CEO Harold Cummings says, "It sounded amazing, most of the national and local press were tied into the digital console but others used the room audio and it sounded so good it was like they were tied into the press box. The clarity was exceptional and the coverage was balanced from front to back and side to side. We didn't even need the XD12's because the VDQ's covered the room so well." After the speech, the Vice Presidential nominee toured Drummer Boy Sound Productions as an example of a local small business that functioned professionally and delivered a result as promised. "Senator Kaine thanked us profusely during his tour for providing amazing sound, lights, and production for his speech," Cummings adds. "He was enthralled about the whole aspect of production, loved the Martin Audio speakers, the digital consoles, and how all of it comes together behind the scenes. It must have been successful for the Clinton Campaign because we're working on a Bill Clinton fundraiser in Miami right now."
