Woodlite Makes Investment in LoadGuard from LTM Woodlite SE, the Swedish gear supplier has invested in a supply of LoadGuard Category-A chain hoist from the UK manufacturer Lift-Turn-Move. The LoadGuard hoists are supplied to British Standard BS7905-1, so they are suitable for lifting or suspending loads above people without additional safety measures. With an existing fleet of over 60 LoadGuard Category-A hoists that are available to rent in capacities ranging from 1,102 - 4,409lbs., Woodlite is looking to expand its inventory even further. Woodlite CEO, Magnus Jansson comments, "We have dealt with LTM for many years now, so when Dan introduced us to the LoadGuard at Pro Light & Sound three years ago, we were keen to take a look. We immediately saw the advantages of these hoists; the fact that our customers can use the hoist without additional safety points being rigged is a real bonus both for us and our customers. This, added to the fact that the hoists are so quiet and lightweight and come with black chain as standard, really made it an easy decision for us to move our fleet over to LoadGuard." LTM has also recently supplied a BGV-C1 system at the Stockholm Waterfront Theatre in Sweden. "We are really pleased the way the LoadGuard Range has been adopted by the Scandinavian market" states Dan Holme of LTM; "The industry is rapidly changing and the demand for products with higher safety standards has increased considerably and the LoadGuard range is our answer to that. As a brand, we have every confidence in it, but often it takes time to become known & trusted within the market, so the way that LoadGuard has been so readily adopted over here has been over and above all of our expectations." LoadGuard Category-A hoists come in 275.5--8,818.5lb capacities.
