Aquarii Enters the LED Lighting Market

A team of professionals with notable backgrounds in commercial and theatrical lighting, new product development, industrial design, engineering, finance, and manufacturing have come together to form Aquarii, Inc., a provider of engineered LED lighting solutions.

Aquarii designs and manufactures LED light fixtures that bring flexibility to venues, from front-of-house operations and house lights for performing arts centers to overhead lighting for municipal arenas. Created to make versatile LED lighting both practical and affordable for a wide range of facilities, the company says Aquarii's lighting fixtures unite a variety of features in one instrument.

The company headquarters is located in Camillus, New York.

Led by Raymond Carrock as president, the Aquarii management team includes Damon Atwood, owner, president, and CEO of Atwood Strategic Consulting, who joins Aquarii as national sales director. Atwood brings more than three decades of experience in the entertainment industry and in lighting design as well as years of experience in theatre systems integration, theatre automation, and creating technical sales networks. Through his consultancy, Atwood has contracted with leaders in the entertainment industry to manage sales of specific products, and he has developed product and sales strategies for technologies ranging from automation systems to innovative lighting solutions. Throughout his career, Atwood has been involved with the design, integration, and sales of more than 340 projects.

Charles B. Shatzkin serves as Aquarii's director of northeast, Atlantic, and international sales. With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business development, he previously served as international sales director for J. R. Clancy, Inc., capturing projects such as the Star Center in Singapore and the Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University in Saudi Arabia. Prior to Clancy, Shatzkin led the sales and marketing team for Tickets.com's software division, offering online ticketing solutions internationally. Shatzkin is also a working theatrical lighting designer.

William Adams is Aquarii's director of operations and brings more than 20 years of experience in the field of manufacturing and operations management. Adams received his B. Sc. degree from Cornell University and his MBA from Syracuse University. Prior to working at Aquarii, Adams implemented successful operations programs at a number of companies including Philips Broadband Networks, Philips Electronics NV, Cooper Crouse Hinds, Exel Global Logistics and Hollowick, Inc.

"Aquarii fills a hole in the lighting market by combining a new class of LED lighting fixtures with custom solutions that include professional engineering," said Carrock. "If our customers simply want to replace their traditional fixtures with versatile LEDs, we have the products to facilitate a smooth and beneficial transition to higher performance lighting. If they need to solve a complex structural problem, we also can provide the engineering skill and expertise to handle the complete solution."

Carrock is a senior executive with more than 35 years of strong financial and operational experience including M&A, manufacturing operations, internal control systems, auditing, international finance, IPOs, risk management, and business process re-engineering. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer for international rigging company J.R. Clancy, Inc.

Aquarii will introduce its newest lighting fixture series, Axceleron, at LDI in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 22-24, 2013. Aquarii will exhibit in booth 235. For more information about Aquarii, visit the URL below, or phone 315 672 8807.
