Show Production Services Expands and Adds Equipment

	Show Production Services' facilities in West Sussex

UK lighting rental company Show Production Services (SPS) has invested £1.6m into equipment for their new West Sussex base.

The large investment comprises equipment from a number of leading industry manufacturers including Philips Vari-Lite, Avolites, CM, James Thomas Engineering, and VMB.

Show Production Services has vastly increased their stock of Vari-Lites and added an additional 100 sections of GP truss. The company continues to invest in LED products for their corporate and live events department and TV lighting department.

The company has chosen to continue with their core manufacturers. Vari-Lite and Avolites products were an obvious choice when selecting equipment for the new base, the company says.

Fondly known as "SPS-on-Sea," by visiting crews, Show Production Services' new base on the south coast of England, just outside Brighton, is said to be suitably located to all major road links to London and the north and with close proximity to two major airports and also Dover Port, the gateway to Europe.

The company notes the 2013 summer has been extremely busy with substantial growth in all areas of the market. The company will open a new sales division and online shop in the next few weeks, with a 400-sq.-ft. visualization studio featuring both WYSIWYG and Martin Show Designer Systems available to lighting designers.
