ADJ Works Midnight Magic at Kahlúa's Nightclub & Bar Booth

Kahlúa held an exclusive launch party at the Highline Ballroom in New York in December to showcase their bold new drink, Kahlúa Midnight. Three months later, when the coffee liqueur legend brought their new late-night beverage at the Nightclub & Bar Show, it wanted to follow up its impressive product launch with something special, so the company turned to ADJ for some extraordinary uplighting.

Kahlúa's Nightclub & Bar booth was constructed with a classic bar feel, created with dark wood. To help its display stand out on a show floor that featured a variety of stunning booths, Kahlúa added an alluringly exotic touch to its display with uplighting provided by more than a dozen ADJ lights, including four Inno Color Beam 12s, four Vizi Spot 5Rs, and six Flat Par QA5Xs.

The uplights chosen set the perfect tone for the traditional bar look Kahlúa achieved at the show, but the company says these versatile lights can adapt to suit any venue. "We're thrilled to be asked for lights by a prominent company like Kahlúa. Our lights are intentionally created with the flexibility to set any mood a designer wants to create such as the exotic look at the Kahlúa booth," said Alfred Gonzales, ADJ national sales manager.

Kahlúa used the following in their booth at the Nightclub & Bar convention:
• Inno Color Beam 12 -- This compact, high performance 36W LED moving head creates an intense beam effect just right for highlighting a booth feature, a performer, or a dance floor.
• Vizi Spot 5R -- Lightweight and compact, this spot features a fast moving head with the Philips Platinum 5R discharge lamp technology for an intensely bright spot effect.
• Flat Par QA5X -- This sit-flat par features five 5W quad LEDs (four-in-one RGBA) with smooth RGB color mixing, including a true amber LED for unique orange hues that add a special touch to uplighting.
