Sew What? Inc.Receives Third-Time Honor as "Top Business" by DiversityBusiness.com

DiversityBusiness.com announced that Sew What? has been selected as a 2013 "Top Business" recipient. The organizer congratulated Megan Duckett, president of Sew What?, for distinguishing herself as "one of the leading entrepreneurs in the United States". This is the third such recognition for Sew What? By DiversityBusiness.com, having been honored as a Top Business award recipient in 2012, and also named one of the top 500 Small Businesses in the United States and one of the top 100 Small Businesses in California, both in 2009.

The custom stage curtain and theatrical backdrop manufacturer, located near Los Angeles, California will be officially recognized at the 13th Annual "National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference". It will be held at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 24 - April 26, 2013. The event promotes business opportunities by bringing together America's "Top Businesses" and America's "Top Fortune 500."

While over 1,300,000 businesses in the United States are eligible for consideration in the 13th annual business survey, Sew What? Was among the very few chosen based on both its annual gross revenue and its business profile. The annual Top Business List receives more than 20 million viewers annually.

The Top Business List offers the most comprehensive look at the strongest segment of the United States economy -- America's privately held companies. These companies are among the most recognized and respected, which truly differentiates them. According to DiversityBusiness.com, this elite list has been coveted by the most successful companies in the U.S.

"We don't try to win awards, only to create extremely satisfied customers. But we're happy when others outside our company see what we're doing and think it's special," says Duckett. She founded the custom stage drapery and theatrical backdrop manufacturing firm originally as a home- based business in the mid 1990s. "We are honored to have this recognition from such a distinguished organization as DiversityBusiness.com."
