LDR to Showcase New Products at LDI 2023

Italian lighting brand Luci della Ribalta (LDR) will be exhibiting at the 2023 LDI Show, December 3 - 5 in Las Vegas, with its sole US distributor CantoUSA. LDR will present the new STELLA 8/22 alongside several intriguing products, with a specific focus on followspots.

"This year, we wanted to present directly to the public a variety of our best followspots, a product type that is part of the company's DNA. Thanks to our continuous effort and dedication in developing new models and added improvements over time, we can today boast most probably the widest range of conventional and LED followspots available on the market " says Lisa Papi, managing director of LDR.

"LDI and Las Vegas undoubtedly represent an important and ideal showcase and location to present our best technology to the world, products that we are very proud of! We are so excited for this year's edition of the show, confident that we have something to really shout about. Above all, we want to demonstrate the power of our fixtures to as many visitors to Booth #519 as possible," Papi adds.

The LDR's brand-new Stella 8/22 600W LED profile will also be on display at the booth, along with their other flagship products, including Astro 600 6000K -- currently the company's best-selling followspot -- Astro 250 CM Wi-Fi HP, and other "classics."

The products include:

ASTRO 600 6,000K is the latest LED followspot from LDR, the Astro 600 produces a pure white beam of light with an extremely flat field, thanks to its integrated state-of-the art LED engine and electronic control system. Despite having been introduced to the market during the COVID pandemic, it has quickly become LDR's flagship product.

The ASTRO 600 product line has been enriched this year with the 3,200K warm light variant, the only LED followspot capable of generating this color temperature currently available on the market, and the Tropical model, particularly suitable for damp and humid environments, such as cruise ships, ocean or seaside venues and sports-arenas, just to mention a few. With its 3,200K and 6,000K white beam generated by a single-source 600W COB which prevents any color shift during dimming, Astro 600 is undoubtedly among the best-performing LED followspots in its category.

ASTRO WI-FI HP is one of the many models in a full range of LED followspots ranging between 230W and 380W and available with 3,200K, 5,600K or RGBW color temperatures. All ASTRO models are stylish, compact, and extremely high-efficiency DMX512- and RDM-controllable units, featuring a state-of-the-art LED power source, digital dimming, flicker-free and constant color temperature at any light intensity, and producing a powerful and highly-defined beam of pure white light.

The RGBW model features unique specifications, among which the possibility of controlling the colors with your mobile phone or tablet, thanks to a proprietary Wi-Fi signal generated by the ASTRO itself and via Art-Net Controller App on Android devices or Luminair App on Apple devices. The Wi-Fi access point allows the connection of one device only, which can be either fitted on one of the side control bars of the Astro or operated from up to 12m from the followspot. Remote control through DMX512-RDM is a further option, as on every LDR LED fixture.

STELLA 8/22 This profile spot, thanks to its double-condenser optics, produces a highly defined beam of pure white light and perfectly sharp gobo and shutters projection from any position, the company says. Its 600W beam features either a warm white 3,200K or cool white 6,000K color temperature and is generated by a single 600W COB source. The STELLA range currently offers most probably the widest choice available on the market in its category, the company says, adding that it is a suitable choice for narrow-angle to front-of-house, very wide-angle projections, and long-distance applications in large venues. Control is available remotely via DMX512 or RDM, or manually through an easy-to-use rear control panel.
