ETP Expands Leadership Team, Strengthening for Future Growth

(l-r) BJ Singh and Les Goldberg

Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP), the parent company to a collection of brands in the events and entertainment industry, announces several strategic additions to its leadership team, positioning the organization for future growth.

BJ Singh has been promoted to president, ETP (North America), taking on a broader leadership role within the organization.

As an avid entrepreneur, Singh steps into his new role as president with significant experience in market positioning, branding, and building customer-focused organizations. Before founding EVENTEQ, Singh was a sales and marketing executive at various software firms and later co-founded a software firm that was acquired in 2006. After the acquisition, he made his hobby into a business, and EVENTEQ was born. In 2020, Singh expanded his leadership role to oversee Premier Event Technology in addition to EVENTEQ. In the same year, BizBash Magazine recognized Singh as one of the top 500 "Must-Know Event Pros in the US" as well as one of the "Top 500 People in Events" in 2018. In his thought leadership blog, DeServing Leadership, he discusses the qualities of helping others and transforming the world for the better, rather than solely committing to the fundamental values that constitute being an effective leader. As president, Singh will now also oversee LMG and live events. Together with his UK counterpart Paul Hutton, president of ETP Europe, Singh will set the direction for all brands globally, the company says.

EVENTEQ and Premier Event Technology also welcome new leadership with the promotion of Ian Campbell, vice president. Campbell has held various roles at EVENTEQ over his 13-year tenure and has been key in leading EVENTEQ's sales team as well as managing the design, account management, and labor logistics teams. In his new role, he will help position both companies for growth in their respective markets.

LMG announces the promotion of Rich Tate to vice president, LMG. Tate joined LMG in 2015 and has nearly 30 years of marketing and sales AV industry experience. He has held several roles since joining LMG in 2015 and has been responsible for overseeing client engagement, business development, marketing, and overall sales performance nationwide. Over the last year, Tate has been instrumental in the development and execution of virtual and hybrid solutions for clients. As vice president, Tate will provide leadership, direction, and strategy for the LMG sales and support teams to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction.

"Forward-thinking, results-driven leadership is critical as we emerge from the pandemic," says Les Goldberg, chairman and CEO of ETP. "When events stopped, our newly promoted leaders did the opposite, guiding our teams in offering new and innovative solutions during the darkest period of our industry's history. I'm confident that our new leadership team will continue to reinforce ETP's position at the forefront of innovation in reshaping the future landscape of events."
