CITT 24th Rendez-vous Annual Conference and trade show will take place August 14 - 16, 2014 in Ottawa Ontario. The conference offers three days of sessions, workshops, backstage tours, an industry trade show, social events, and networking opportunities. Registration to exhibit at the CITT trade show is now open.

Pre-conference workshops will be replaced with hands-on console and media server training.

The Education Forum and Roadhouse Roundtable discussions will be moved to Saturday.

The association general meeting luncheon has become an AGM breakfast.

Those are just a few of the changes planned as preparations are being made for the 24th CITT Rendez-vous.

As usual, the new product breakfast will kick off the Friday morning and the ever-so-popular corporate luncheon sponsored by MDG Fog Generators will allows delegates and exhibitors alike some layback time just before the opening of the trade show. Rendez-vous is also the occasion for CITT's annual general meeting breakfast on Saturday: a must for all CITT members to learn more about what the organization has been doing over the year and to review the annual reports and financial statement.

Evening social events include the opening night Meet & Greet Junk Challenge on Thursday August 14, the ever-zany Swag Bingo Live Auction on Friday night, and the conference highlight: the CITT Awards Banquet where the association honors those individuals and companies who have excelled in their field of live performance in Canada.

This year, Rendez-vous 2014 will be hosting a bigger trade show with longer visiting hours over a two-day span at the Ottawa Convention Centre (OCC). The CITT trade show allows suppliers and manufacturers to showcase new products and stage technologies to the attendees will take place at Canada Hall 1 in the OCC located downtown on the site of the old Congress Centre along the Rideau Canal and near all major hotels.

CITT 24th trade show will run: Friday, August 15 from 1:30pm to 5:30pm and Saturday, August 16 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The Trade Show is held in Canada Hall 1, Ottawa Convention Centre (OCC), 55 Colonel-By Drive in Ottawa Ontario. The trade show floor will be open free to the public on both days.

Dedicated trade show time slots (with no sessions) include: Friday, August 15 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and Saturday, August 16 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The trade show will also include a cash bar and a 5:00 - 7:00pm happy hour on Friday, August 15.

This year, CITT has allocated a 30% and 45% discount on booth fees to CITT Sustaining and Contribution members. Booth spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-registration for CITT members runs from March 12 - 31.

Non-CITT member general registration starting April 1.
