Eartec Launches UltraLite -- A Full Duplex Wireless without a Base Station

The Eartec UltraLite is a new breed of full duplex wireless headset that allows up to four people to communicate simultaneously without a base station. The company says the UltraLite is a breakthrough because it features a miniature transceiver built right inside the ear cup eliminating cables and belt packs. Since no base station is required, teams have total mobility and enjoy hands-free communication within a 400-yard (1,200') range.

A rechargeable lithium polymer battery provides six hours of service / talk time, and freshly charged batteries can be replaced in the field instantly.
