ESTA Honored as Event Safety Trailblazer at Event Safety Summit

The Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) has been recognized with the very first Event Safety Trailblazer award at this year's Event Safety Summit. "This honor celebrates ESTA's outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing safety standards across the entertainment industry," the company says.

The Event Safety Trailblazer award highlights organizations that lead the charge in developing and implementing innovative safety protocols, resources, and training initiatives. "ESTA has been wildly supportive of ESA's safety mission, and we are all better off for it," says ESA executive director Don Cooper. "We look forward to continuing our partnership with ESTA while advancing and expanding a culture of safety across the entire live event industry."

The award is inscribed as honoring ESTA for "pioneering a culture of safety and promoting excellence through innovation. We recognize your groundbreaking efforts and invaluable contributions to safety at live events. Your commitment to collaboration and education continues to raise the bar in our industry. Thank you for paving the way to a safer future."

ESTA's contributions include the development of the Event Safety Working Group and the ANSI-accredited Technical Standards Program, which have collectively provided essential guidance on topics ranging from rigging safety to weather preparedness. These resources have become integral to the planning and execution of live events worldwide, the company says.

Hosted by the Event Safety Alliance, the Event Safety Summit is a premier annual gathering of industry professionals dedicated to fostering a culture of safety in live events. The tenth Event Safety Summit brought together thought leaders, safety advocates, and industry veterans for three days of education, networking, and collaboration.
