InfoComm 2013 Is Another Success For Alcons Audio USA2013 proved to be another successful presence for Alcons Audio at the InfoComm trade show, with audio professionals from across the industry able to both see and hear the breadth of the company's portfolio of pro-ribbon loudspeaker systems. The company marked the occasion with several recent achievements and announcements and showed products in three different locations; on the company's stand, and in off-site locations PlazaLive concert venue, and at Senor Frog club/restaurant. Major highlights of this year's expo included the North American debut of two new sound system solutions: the QR24 line source column and the RR12 constant curvature point-source array module. Both new products deploy recently patented technologies from the Alcons engineering team and provide new evolutionary pro-ribbon solutions for the Alcons business partners. In addition, Alcons hosted off-site demonstrations of the LR16 high-output compact line array module. This was the first North American public demonstration of the LR16 and was received with high praise and garnered interest from production companies, installers, and consultants through the course of the demonstration sessions. David Rahn, North American sales manager: "As expected, the Alcons Audio solutions are quickly becoming go to tools for applications requiring the highest of fidelity and coverage." "Over the first two year's we have been very diligent in establishing a proper business model and distribution strategy. The results are very gratifying as we have several new reference installations, new rental market partners, and a great deal of interest from consultants and theatre sound designers. The show was surely another highlight of this year's Alcons developments in the US market."
