Elite Multimedia Purchases Elation-Distributed HedgeHog 4 ConsolesElite Multimedia of Nashville, Tennessee, has purchased five Elation-distributed HedgeHog 4 lighting consoles with Elation eNode routers for their rental inventory. The purchase, made possible by a distribution agreement that allows Elation to distribute the High End Systems console in the US and other countries, allows Elite to offer its customers what the company calls a compact lighting controller from a family of consoles that continues to set the standard for lighting control in the industry. "The HedgeHog 4 is the perfect small format console for several of our clients," said Jason "Cannonball" Jenkins, Elite Multimedia's head of lighting. "Many of our clients don't need a full format console for their events. The HedgeHog provides us with proven reliability of the Hog platform in a package that is small and cost effective. We are excited to be able to offer this new console and look forward to continuing expansion of our relationship with Elation, High End, and Freed Sales." The eNode 4 is a compact four-universe Ethernet to DMX interface for use with Art-Net compatible DMX control systems and is ideal for hanging in truss or remote areas of installations. It is also small enough to fit inside the portable, Elation-designed HedgeHog4 flightcase, making for a powerful easy-to-set-up plug and play package for outputting four universes of DMX.
