Graduating MFA Designers in Set, Costume, Lighting, and Film to be Showcased at NYU Tisch School of the Arts

The Department of Design for Stage and Film at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts will feature the work of 18 designers from its MFA graduating class of 2025 in a week-long exhibition. The annual event attracts hundreds of directors, designers, producers, and other entertainment industry professionals, as well as the general public who come to view the exhibit looking for new talent.

The designers -- scenery, costume, lighting, and production design -- are all members of the 2025 graduating class and have completed the three-year MFA program. They are: Ruichen Bai, Jacob Bers, Vicky Butler, Simean "Sim" Carpenter, Paul Jonathan Davis, Siddharth Dutta, Annie Garrett-Larsen, Michaela Hecht, Alexandra Janowski, Joseph Jin, Kaia L. Merrell, Lauren Nychelle, Alex Pena, Xorlali Plange, Sandrina Sparagna, Emily Nicole Tucker, Fan Yu, Hanxiao Zhang.

The showcase features the work of these emerging designers. Come see their designs for realized productions and class projects for the theatre, film, and dance, in a wide variety of media, including scale models, hand and digital sketching, original costumes, production photographs, film reels, and more.
