Barbizon Lighting Company Appoints New Chief Financial Officer Barbizon Lighting Company (Barbizon) started the new year by announcing Shen-Hsin Hung joined the entertainment lighting and systems integration company as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective January 6, 2020. Hung joins the Barbizon Lighting Company with over 25-years as a financial and operational executive in the media and entertainment industry, including the likes of CBS, Inc., Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, MTV Networks, Viacom, and Condé Nast. Hung brings with her an extensive background in corporate finance and operations, strategic and financial planning, and risk management, along with a deep appreciation for the Barbizon Lighting Company's 73-year track record as the industry's leading provider of turnkey entertainment lighting systems and products. Hung has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience as an executive in the entertainment and media industries. She has served in both chief financial officer and chief operating officer roles, leading the development of the operations, systems, and people that facilitated revenue growth and streamlined operations while working with highly visible organizations. Early in her career, she served in senior management roles ranging from post-production operations to program development and quickly accelerated into executive positions ranging from business operations to corporate finance. Later in her career, Hung switched-gears and established a corporate planning and strategy group at Condé Nast and then made the leap to innovation as chief operating officer/chief financial officer at ?What If! USA, Ltd. At ?What If! she led a consulting business for a wide variety of corporations looking to reimagine and implement the next phases of their business strategy, culture, and growth.
