Kinesys Announces Summer Training Courses

London, UK-based automation specialist Kinesys announces June and July dates for its on-going product training program, consisting of two day courses and workshops.

The next two "General Technical and Vector Control" training courses will take place on June 13-14 and July 11-12, respectively. For full details, please visit the URL below. The training provides both theoretical and practical fundamentals of Kinesys' motion control systems. It will be held at Kinesys' new dedicated training facility at the company's headquarters in Hampton, Middlesex. This includes a special classroom set up with individual computers allowing attendees to work at their own pace, and a full practical training rig.

These latest courses, co-ordinated by Kinesys' training manager, Andy Hicks, are a part of the regular schedule of training offered by Kinesys, and reflect the constantly growing equipment in all industry sectors.

The focus will be on system configuration -- with a broad overview of the entire Kinesys product range with particular focus on variable speed Kinesys chain hoists, beam trolleys, Kinesys Elevation 1+ controllers, and the versatile Kinesys Vector software control package. The training will also cover basic troubleshooting.

Lunch is provided on both days.

The courses are designed to allow hands-on time with the systems, and actual programming and moving truss and other objects in an environment similar to real world situations. Classes are limited in size to ensure that all participants receive the requisite amount of time and attention.

Previous experience of motors or automation is not necessary to benefit from the training. Those with lighting backgrounds in particular can pick it up very quickly, especially on the control side, when it comes to building cues and running shows, etc.
