LED Source Announces New Director of Franchise OperationsLED Source, a North American LED lighting solutions provider specializing in architectural, entertainment, and retrofit applications, announces its new director of franchise operations, Brian Gilbert. Gilbert brings 25 years of franchise experience to his new role, having worked in both franchisee and franchisor environments. For the past 15 years, Gilbert has served at the director level for multiple franchise concepts in the hair care and petroleum sectors. He has been instrumental in helping start-up companies grow to successful organizations. Gilbert also has extensive knowledge in commercial real estate and training and development of corporate programs to enhance support of franchise communities. "His extensive experience in the franchise space will be instrumental for our organization as he supports the field and manages franchisee recruitment." Founded in 2005, LED Source is North America's first and only franchisor of LED lighting. The company supplies LED products to a variety of spaces, and specializes in design, support, development, project management, and financing through its retrofit, architectural, and entertainment divisions. Applications include commercial office spaces, schools, churches, theaters, art galleries, restaurants and nightclubs, special events, residential, landscape lighting, and much more. Due to increasing demand, LED Source launched a franchise program in 2009 and has since opened 13 offices across the nation. The company is currently developing in states along the Eastern Seaboard and will open its first location outside North America this year in the Caribbean. LED Source expects to add 12-15 franchise locations in 2013 and long term goals plan for a network of 150 franchise offices throughout North America within three years.
