Solotech: The Most Nominated Company of the 2020 Parnelli Awards

As a long-time sponsor and an award-winning participant of the Parnelli Awards -- the highest accolade professionals in the live events industry can receive, the company says -- Solotech has received nominations in seven categories, making it the most nominated company of the 2020 Parnelli Awards. The 19th edition of the Parnelli Awards will be held on January 17, 2020 in Anaheim, California.

Solotech is nominated for Lighting Company of the Year (P!nk), Sound Company of the Year (Michael Bublé), Video Production Company of the Year (Hugh Jackman), and Rigging Company of the Year (Lady Gaga Residency). Additionally, three Solotech employees have been nominated for individual Parnelli Awards: Marc Depratto for Monitor Mixer of the Year and Jonathan Trudeau for Audio System Tech of the Year, both for their work on the An Evening with Michael Bublé Tour, as well as Paul Becher for Video Director of the Year for his role on Paul McCartney's Freshen Up Tour.

Presented by PLSN and FOH magazines, the Parnelli Awards are hailed as the "Oscars of the Live Event Industry." Each year, they honor industry pioneers, innovators, and creative teams for designing and realizing exceptional tours, for forward-thinking technical achievements, and for the remarkable work of production professionals.

Over the past years, several of the company's industry colleagues have also been nominated for Parnelli Awards. This year is no exception, with Kevin Carswell being nominated for Video Director of the Year for his work, supported by Solotech, on the An Evening with Michael Bublé Tour.

Previously, Solotech has won the Parnelli Award for Video Production Company of the Year in 2019, and was nominated for Best Sound Company of the Year in 2017, having won that Parnelli Award in both 2011 and 2013.
