Elite Multimedia Productions is the First in the Area to Add LSC Lighting Systems' Clarity LX600 ConsoleLSC Lighting Systems, an Australian lighting console design and manufacturing company, sold their Clarity LX600's to Elite Multimedia Productions (EMP), making it the first LX600 console sold to a production house in Nashville, Tennessee. EMP is a Nashville-based production house that services various audio, video, and lighting touring and event needs for notable clients such as Luke Bryan, Dream Theater, Casting Crowns, and Chick-Fil-A. "The LSC Clarity desks are something we've been looking at as a company because several clients have asked about it," said Tom Wilson, EMP VP event production. "When Gary Allan's tour asked about it, it confirmed that it was an exciting decision we wanted to make." LSC's Clarity series of consoles include a number of impressive features including multiple touch screens and programmers, playbacks with FaderIdent, LED pixel mapping, and media server integration. The company says what makes this series stand above the rest however, is the software, which had been in use in the market for more than three years prior to the release of the Clarity desks. "We tested the software and got a lot of people using it without building the actual console," said LSC president Rob Steel. "Most people do this the other way around, but it was a lot easier to get the product to market that way and get the bugs rung out of it. So when it came out a year ago, it pretty much came out the door working." The company says EMP is eager to continue a relationship with LSC as they continue to grow and expand their client market in 2014 and beyond.
