Renkus-Heinz Plays Big at InfoComm Renkus-Heinz had a very busy InfoComm. In the Audio Hall, the Renkus-Heinz booth played host to the company's annual Technology Theatre, with ongoing seminars hosted by well-known pros including Bruce Olson, of Olson Sound Design; Stefan Feistel, of Ahnert Feistel Media Group; John Murray, principal of Optimum System Solutions; Doug Fowler, of Fowler Audio Services; and Renkus-Heinz's own Rik Kirby and Jim Mobley. Between formal presentations, the booth's "Geek Bar" was buzzing with non-stop demonstrations of Renkus-Heinz products and technologies including SysTune, EASE, EASERA, and RHAON. Outside the main hall, the Renkus-Heinz demo room was also a hub of activity, with detailed demonstrations of a highly focused selection of the newest Renkus-Heinz loudspeaker technologies, including Iconyx, IC Live, IC2 and CF101LA systems. Even if you weren't among the daily crowd actively seeking info on Renkus-Heinz products, chances are good you ran across them anyway. IC Live systems were humming away non-stop at the InfoComm Audio Pavilion, as well as the Rental and Staging Forum and the Technologies for Worship Pavilion. And even a bleary 7am start time wasn't enough to deter more than 200 of the industry's leading audio professionals from attending the Renkus-Heinz Consultants' Breakfast, an InfoComm invitation-only tradition now in its 20th year. This year's presenters included Craig Janssen, of Acoustic Dimensions, discussing "IPD, BIM and Industry Transformation," as well as John Murray, of Optimum System Solutions and Renkus-Heinz senior vice-president, Ralph Heinz. And a pair of iPads were awarded to the lucky winners of the business card drawing, Bruce Coffman, of Touch Thirty Three and Chip Sams IV, of William Sams Acoustics, Inc.
