Audio-Technica Renews Sponsorship of Notes for Notes

Audio-Technica, an innovator in transducer technology for over 50 years, recently renewed its sponsorship of music education charity Notes for Notes, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with completely free access to music instruments, instruction, and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive experience in their lives.

Audio-Technica has provided many of the Notes for Notes locations with microphones and headphones, including the AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, PRO 63 Cardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone, BP40 Large-Diaphragm Dynamic Microphone, and ATH-M20x, ATH-M30x, ATH-M40x, and ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones.

As part of the sponsorship renewal, Roxanne Ricks, Audio-Technica US artist relations manager and events specialist, recently attended a gala event in Detroit, marking the opening of a new Notes for Notes Studio in the city. Country artist and Michigan native Frankie Ballard was a featured guest, and Notes for Notes presented Audio-Technica with a Diamond Record plaque. "It was an honor to be at this event," stated Ricks, "and an even bigger honor to represent Audio-Technica as we continue to pledge our support for this wonderful organization."

Notes for Notes is a non-profit organization which builds, equips, and staffs after-school recording studios (inside Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school facilities) packed with guitars, drums, keys/synths, DJ gear, digital music stations, and full recording studios offering youth completely free access to explore, create, and record music. Notes for Notes currently has 11 studios in Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school sites in Santa Barbara, Nashville, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Ventura, Atlanta, Detroit, and coming soon to Austin, Cleveland, Memphis, New Orleans, and more.
