IPS Expands BLKBX Tour Rehearsal Facility, Adding Storage, Amenities, and Enhanced Production Support IPS announces the expansion of BLKBX, the company's tour rehearsal facility, as part of a broader growth initiative. With the acquisition of its neighboring warehouse, IPS has increased its total footprint to 75,000 sq. ft., adding new features and enhanced client storage to BLKBX. Strategically located in Franklin, Tennessee, just minutes from downtown Nashville, BLKBX now offers three multi-purpose studio spaces designed to accommodate a wide range of production needs. The largest studio features a 60,000lb rigging capacity and a 20' trim height, making it well-suited for various lighting, sound, and set configurations. Additional studio-adjacent rooms, offices, and dedicated loading docks ensure seamless load-ins and streamlined production workflows for touring crews. In response to client demand, BLKBX has added 2,900 sq. ft. of production storage, allowing tours to store equipment and set pieces on-site with 24/7 access. This addition enables pre-staging and optimized logistics, reducing production prep time for upcoming tour dates. Adjacent to the facility, IPS's production supply services provide renters with access to last-minute supplies for rent or purchase, further enhancing efficiency and convenience. "We designed BLKBX to be more than just a rehearsal space -- it's a complete solution catered for artists and production teams looking to streamline their creative process while staying comfortable," says Nicholas Brown, CEO at IPS. "With this expansion, we're continuing to build a facility that meets the needs of both emerging artists and established tours, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed under one roof." BLKBX is designed to prioritize the comfort and productivity of both artists and production teams, the company says. On-site amenities include: *Three rehearsal studios *Three mix suites *A fully equipped gym *A green room *Laundry facilities with showers *A coffee bar *Bus shore power for touring artists and crews staying on-site during pre-production. With a focus on flexibility and accessibility, BLKBX caters to a diverse range of production needs, the company says, from emerging artists and mid-tier productions to established tours. The facility's purpose-built design and cutting-edge acoustics make it a well-suited environment to fine-tune tours, test arena setups, or host creative workshops -- all conveniently located in the heart of Tennessee's creative hub. BLKBX is now accepting bookings for the fall season, with the expanded facility projected to open in October 2025. During the expansion, IPS will continue offering its current rehearsal space within the IPS warehouse, ensuring uninterrupted service for both new and existing clients.
