Announcing frame:work Festival 2020 December 4, 5, 11, 12

frame:work is a community forum for video professionals working in live events and virtual production. They have hosted two events in 2020 sharing insights from leaders in the field of video content creation, video & media server engineering, screens producing, real-time generative content, media server programming, and the evolving worlds of virtual production and mixed reality. Now they want to hear from the community.

Starting October 26, frame:work will make a call for presenters for frame:work festival 2020. The forum wants to hear how members of the community solved a unique design, engineering, operational, producing, learning, or work/life balance challenge. These presentations can discuss future projects, recently completed projects, or any of the career defining experiences that have occurred over the last decades.

The four day festival will rotate time zones creating a regional schedule for international participation. The forum asks that all presentations are in English, though they can be pre-recorded and translated by the speaker for participation.

frame:work believes the way to improve their standard of work is through good communication and engagement with each other, no matter the discipline.

frame:work is a volunteer effort, founded on community supporting principles. The forum has published a Diversity Initiative, Code of Conduct, and a People Powered statement on their website. frame:work events are free to all students and anyone facing economic hardships.
