PLASA and MIA to Host Two Brexit Forums

PLASA and the Music Industries Association (MIA) are co-hosting two free-to-attend forums in preparation for Brexit, taking place in London on October 25, and Leeds on October 28.

The two associations are collaborating with the aim of bringing the most relevant and up to date information to as wide a community as possible. Both events will feature a line-up of expert speakers, panel sessions, and Q&A providing trustworthy and accurate information and allowing attendees to ask their burning questions.

Topics to be covered include legal, shipping, HR, and currency, however the event organizers are open to further suggestions. Confirmed speakers include Ros Kellaway of Eversheds, transport and haulage specialist Tim Ridyard, Nicky Gleadow of HR Point, economist Roger Martin Fagg (Leeds only), and representatives from SGM, freight company Velta, and HR consultants Croner. More speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
