Robe Lights Nina Badric TourCroatian pop star Nina Badric kicked off her latest tour with a gig at the Drazen Petrovic Hall in Zagreb, Croatia in front of 5,000 enthusiastic fans. The lighting rig was designed by Dalibor Radic and included 24 Robe MMX Spots which were central to the look and feel of the show. They were supplied, along with the rest of the technical production package, by rental company Eldra, based in Bregana. Over 200m of trussing was installed for the show to provide positions for lighting, PA, and LED screens. It was the lighting designer's first work for the artist and her 11 piece band. His brief was to make the stage as dynamic as possible with lots of big, bold looks, and color to cover the lively largely up-tempo performance. Radic specified the Robin MMX's because off their light output, the dual graphics / animation wheel and other effects, the low weight and speed -- and most importantly - reliability, the company says. Using Robe products for about a year now, Radic is said to be very impressed all round. Eldra's co-owner, Damir Drazic, notes the quality engineering and the fact that the Robe luminaires are constantly in demand as a rental stock items. See Robe at PLASA Focus: Orlando, May 15-16.
