QSC Holds Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit the NAMM Foundation and Variety -- The Children's CharityResponding to employees' strong desire to contribute more to the community, QSC recently held a charity golf tournament on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, California. Through the efforts and contributions of the QSC team and their partners, the event raised more than $24,000 to benefit both the NAMM Foundation and Variety -- The Children's Charity. Partner companies, customers, friends, and family joined QSC to benefit these worthwhile causes, participating in a variety of ways to raise funds such as corporate sponsorships, banner displays, gift bags, foursomes, contest sponsorships, meal sponsorships, golfer registration, and lunch tickets. "QSC is grateful that our employees, suppliers, customers, friends, and family members gathered together with such enthusiasm to support these two very worthy causes," says Joe Pham, QSC president and CEO. "We are thrilled to support the NAMM Foundation and Variety -- The Children's Charity. Thank you to the team for organizing this event and thanks to all who participated. We are very fortunate to be in a position to give back to our community." Both The NAMM Foundation and Variety -- The Children's Charity are causes which are very important to the people at QSC. The NAMM Foundation promotes the joy of music making, and encourages active participation by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving, and public service programs. A supporting organization of NAMM (The National Association of Music Merchants), the NAMM Foundation is funded by NAMM members through trade association activities and private donations. Variety -- The Children's Charity's purpose is to serve children who are less fortunate -- children who live and grow up with a serious illness, disability, or disadvantage. In contrast to many charitable organizations focus on a single area problem or issue, Variety focuses on multiple unmet needs of children who are sick, disadvantaged, or live with disabilities and other special needs at a local and national level, in order to maximize the long-term positive impact.
