Melanie Georgieva Joins Panalux as Long Form Sales DirectorPanalux, part of Panavision's production-through-post service offerings for image makers, announces the hiring of industry veteran Melanie Georgieva as a long form sales director. Georgieva brings over two decades of experience across production, sales, and operations. In that time, she has garnered a deep knowledge of the filmmaking process and the specific needs of cinematographers, gaffers and their crews. At Panalux, she will be instrumental in supporting feature and series productions throughout London and Southeast England. "The relationships Melanie has developed throughout the film, television and commercial industry, along with her thorough understanding of the production process, are invaluable," says Panalux business development director Michele Channer. "We're thrilled to welcome her to the Panalux team and look forward to helping our customers bring their creative visions to life together." Georgieva will be based out of Panalux's newly opened London headquarters, working alongside fellow long form sales director Sandro Leone and reporting to Channer. Prior to joining Panalux, Georgieva served as vice president of studio operations and client services at The MBS Group. Her previous roles have included business development director at Take 2 Films, sales manager at Pinewood Studios Group, and studio manager at 3 Mills Studios.
