Chaos Supplies Video for International Teamsters Convention The 28th International Brotherhood of Teamsters Convention began June 27 and continued through July 1 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chaos Visual Productions provided the services and personnel that showcased the designs of Rene Lagle, the event's production designer; Jon Kusner, its lighting designer; and Alan Wells, the director and graphics designer to over 6,000 attendees of this international convention that takes place only every five years. The event's executive producer, Ricky Kirshner, of RK Corporate Productions, with Lisa Geers, executive in charge of production, and Cisco Henson, supervising producer, displayed the designs on a center 40' x 22' tall rear-projection screen. John Bradley, the staging supervisor, worked with Chaos Visual's project manager, Barry Claxton, to incorporate two 12-x-20-1/2' wide IMAG screens with 246 tiles of Barco NX 4mm along with four 8'-x-20'-wide "ribbons" of 220 tiles of 9mm WinVision tiles. Two 35K Christie HD projectors and eight Christie 10K HD projectors were also utilized on a 16'-x-9' front-projection screen provided by Chaos. Peter Blue, Brandon Oosterhof, Joseph Denham, and Scott Goegebuer made up the video crew that supported the Teamsters Convention on behalf of Chaos Visual Productions. John Wiseman, Chaos Visual's CEO, commented, "We, at Chaos, have been fortunate enough to work with Ricky Kirshner's team on a number of large events including the 2008 Super Bowl Halftime Show as well as President Obama's Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in early 2009. Getting the call to support this A+ team again on such a historic event was, both, a thrill and a challenge. The Rene Lagler design was stunning, and it was really something to set the stage for the historic 28th International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which was presided over by general president James P. Hoffa and included a keynote address by Vice President Joe Biden.
