Application Deadline for the URTA National Unified Auditions and Interviews is November 21The University/Resident Theatre Association (URTA)'s National Unified Auditions and Interviews (NUAIs) provides a unique and efficient approach to pursuing placement in top graduate programs. The deadline for candidates in acting and design is Friday, November 21. The URTA will continue to accept applications until December 12, with payment of a late fee. The URTA has eliminated the screening auditions for actors in all cities -- and more member schools are recruiting than in past years -- 18 so far. In addition, 13 non-member programs are attending the Satellite Auditions. Don't miss this opportunity to be seen by 30 (or more) post graduate acting programs! Plus, design/tech has been consolidated to Chicago only and 29 URTA schools are already signed up to attend. The Candidate Handbook and URTA Directory of Member Training Programs and Resident Partner Theatres are available for download at www.urta.com. The URTA offers videos on the acting and design/tech process, useful FAQs, and quick links to the ever vital social media connections, including Facebook and Twitter. All this, and more, adds up to making a trip to San Francisco, Chicago, or New York more valuable than ever. The 2015 Application and Guideline is available through the link below. Candidates may also apply online through the URL below. But remember: after Friday, November 21st, applications will incur a $20 late fee. For questions, or need additional information about the process, contact Sara Falconer, director of membership services, University/Resident Theatre Association at auditions@urta.com; www.urta.com or 212-221-1130.
