Michael DiBlasi Elected to Second Term on League of Historic American Theatres BoardMichael DiBlasi, partner with Schuler Shook, was elected to a second three-year term on the board of directors of the national League of Historic American Theatres (LHAT). LHAT was founded in 1976 by 42 theaters and has more than 300 theater and service provider members across the United States and Canada. A nonprofit membership organization, LHAT is a professional network dedicated to preserving, restoring, and sustaining America's historic theaters for the benefit of their communities and future generations. "Our board members are active volunteers in the League as well as strong champions for the valuable role historic theatres can play in the life of their communities. The League is fortunate to have their experience and leadership," said Don Telford, LHAT president and president and CEO of San Diego Theatres. Specializing in renovating historic performance facilities, DiBlasi's 27 years of theatre planning experience has helped numerous older venues to become more efficient and technically savvy, while respecting the historic attributes and integration of modern systems.
