On Saturday, July 27, Casa Italia Paris 2024 was opened at Le Pre Catelan -- the location selected by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) to host athletes of the Italian Team and their guests during the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris (July 11 to August 11). For the first time in Casa Italia's history, the public had access to a new and unique experience, immersing themselves in a synthesis of design, architecture, and ideas presented under the title "Ensemble."

Through their Italian distributor, ALTO Professional Lighting, German lighting company ROXX supplied a large number of outdoor fixtures for Casa Italia, with the equipment provided by ALTO's client Musical Box.

For the lighting design of Casa Italia's exteriors, Italian lighting designer Massimo Pascucci relied on the complete ROXX E.SHOW TW+ Series.

The TW+ fixtures, including E.SHOW maxx TW+, E.SHOW TW+, and E.SHOW mini TW+, stand out with their powerful six-color LED engines, delivering perfect white light and brilliant colors, the company says. The E.SHOW maxx TW+ offers a brightness of up to 10,000 lumens at a 14-degree beam angle, powered by 800W, making it well-suited for large shows and studio applications. The E.SHOW TW+ with 200W and the compact E.SHOW mini TW+ also deliver light quality and versatility for a variety of applications.

Pascucci highlighted the six-color LED engine (RGBLAC) of the E.SHOW fixtures, which ensured uniform color quality throughout the project. "The ability to use different lights with the same RGBLAC LED engine was incredible -- identical white points and colors with no need for adjustments during setup," says Pascucci.

The versatility of the IP65 E.SHOW series, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, was pivotal in adapting to the diverse spaces around Casa Italia. Pascucci explains, "The different fixture sizes and lenses allowed me to choose the best solution for each space." With approximately 350 units installed, the series excelled in ease of setup and reliability. "As expected, versatility and reliability were key in creating stunning scenarios," Pascucci adds.

Since 2021, ROXX products have been exclusively distributed in Italy by ALTO Professional Lighting. This partnership has significantly contributed to strengthening the brand's position in the Italian market and showcasing the fixtures in prestigious projects, the company says, including shows of Dolce & Gabbana and Bulgari.

"The excellent collaboration with Alto Professional Lighting is a key factor in our success. The Italian market has embraced our solutions from the very beginning, which is also a testament to the dedication of our distribution partner," says ROXX CEO Michael Herweg.

Pascucci has utilized all models of the ROXX E.SHOW TW+ series, each offering distinct features tailored to specific lighting needs. All models feature functions such as a quick lens change system, wireless DMX (CRMX), and control via the ROXX.APP, making them versatile and easy-to-use tools for professional lighting applications.

Although the lighting programming for Casa Italia was done on lighting consoles, Pascucci acknowledges the benefits of the ROXX.APP in other installations. "I've used the ROXX.APP for quick setups before, and it's the perfect solution for efficiency. For Casa Italia, I individually illuminated each plant, tree, and bush, and the ROXX fixtures delivered outstanding results."
