QT Hotel Implements Complete IP-Based Digital Signage, IPTV, and VOD Solution in Australian Capital

	Tripleplay has teamed with the luxury QT Hotels & Resorts site in Cranberra to implement IPTV, VOD solution, and IP based digital signage across 217 rooms.

Tripleplay authorized reseller, StreamVision has completed a 217-room deployment of the TripleChoice Hospitality TV portal at the QT Hotels & Resorts site in Canberra, Australian capital territory.

The IPTV and Video on Demand (VOD) solution is delivered using secure media via the hotel's IP network to set top boxes in each room, incorporating full property management system (PMS) integration, electronic program guide (EPG), and personal video recording (PVR), with a number of channels delivered to each room from a mix of Foxtel and free to air.

The server based Tripleplay solution also incorporates a digital signage system which uses the more powerful Amino A140 Set Top Box to deliver information and promotions in communal areas of the QT Hotel and Resort.
