It's All in the Listening at ISE 2015 -- Meyer Sound Stages Immersive Sonic Event "Countdown"

Meyer Sound's LYON line array loudspeakers

At ISE in Amsterdam, February 10 - 12, visit the Meyer Sound stand 1-M90 to hear some of the latest Meyer Sound loudspeaker and digital solutions in action. Headlining the presentation is "Countdown," an immersive multichannel sonic adventure that brings the company's advanced show technology from the world's most ambitious spectacles to the exhibit floor. Visitors are also invited to experience the exceptional control and sonic fidelity of the steerable CAL column array loudspeaker -- now officially the industry's first AVnu-certified AVB loudspeaker.

"Countdown" features the Meyer Sound SpaceMap multi-channel dynamic panning software with the D-Mitri digital audio platform. These systems have powered dynamic sonic experiences in theme parks, aquariums, and theatres, including the latest stage adaptation of the Anne Frank story in Theater Amsterdam and Bill Fontana's Sonic Mappings in Rome. "Countdown" is scheduled to run on all three days of the show at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. The sound design is created by Jason Rauhoff, senior digital product specialist at Meyer Sound. Rauhoff was a veteran associate sound designer for numerous Cirque du Soleil productions and served as recording engineer on Kanye West's The College Dropout.

The company says selected for world-class venues from the Musikverein in Vienna and Konzerthaus Berlin to Berner Rathaus in Bern, Switzerland, CAL provides exceptional coverage control and sonic precision, while its Ethernet AVB ports combine audio signal transmission with beam control and remote system monitoring. Now with the AVnu certification, CAL provides seamless interoperability with certified AVB devices from other manufacturers, while offering numerous advantages of the open IEEE AVB standards.

The LEO family of linear line array systems is displayed at the show, including the LEO-M and LYON line array loudspeakers which have supported productions from the Judas Priest and Michael Bublé tours to the 25th anniversary celebration for the Fall of the Berlin Wall at Brandenburg Gate. For small to mid-size installation projects, Meyer Sound brings the MINA compact line array, the UPQ-1P, UPA-1P, and UPM-1P loudspeakers. In addition, the MJF-210, the company's lightest stage monitor is featured as well as numerous models featuring the IntelligentDC technology, which marries the advantages of self-powered systems with remote DC power. The products at the show range from the HMS-5 and HMS-10 surround loudspeakers and the MM-4XP and UP-4XP loudspeakers to the MM-10XP subwoofer. Meyer Sound CAL will be featured as part of the AVnu Alliance Pavilion at ISE (Booth 1-M43).
