Bandit Lites Adds Clay Paky B-EYE K20 to InventoryBandit Lites has purchased a large number of Clay Paky's new A.leda B-EYE K20, a high performance fixture that has already claimed numerous acclamations as LDI's Best Debuting Lighting Fixture and PLASA's Award for Innovation. With the capability of functioning as both a wash and a beam light, the company says the B-EYE is an exciting addition to the Bandit inventory. Utilizing a special optical unit with an outstanding lumen/watt ratio, the B-EYE operates at a 20% brighter function than any LED-wash with the same rated power. Furthermore, the zoom ranges from 4- to 60-degrees giving it the flexibility to be zoomed down to a beam fixture. Furthermore, the front lens is able to rotate, creating different, small bright graphics that can be open and closed at will. "Brian Dowd of A.C.T Lighting provided only the highest level of customer service," said Pete Heffernan, Bandit Lites' president. "With all the buzz generated at LDI regarding this fixture, we knew we wanted to include it our repertoire of equipment, giving our clients the most cutting-edge options in lighting. The versatility of the B-EYE is astounding, and I know the lighting designers we work with are going to get some jaw-dropping looks with it." One designer who is already creating such looks is lighting designer Chris Lisle, who is utilizing the B-EYE on One Republic's tour to create outstanding and dynamic looks. "With their brightness, incredible amount of effects, and 'little tricks', I knew that this fixture would be a must-have for the One Republic tour," said Lisle. "We are getting many great looks and fun eye candy moments out of them."
