World Premiere Launches for Martin Professional at PLASA Focus Austin

Martin Professional will have its lighting and control products in its luggage when arriving at the inaugural PLASA Focus exhibition in Austin, Texas. Showcasing for the first time will be Martin's new MAC III AirFX moving head along with two new lighting controllers in the M-series, the M2GO and M2PC.

Several other products will also be on display at Martin booth 707 including the award-winning MAC Aura™ and popular MAC 101 moving heads, as well as Martin's high-performance EC-10™ LED display panel and Jem K1 Hazer.

The company reports the new MAC III AirFX is a versatile beam, effects, and wash luminaire in one and is the latest high-performance 1500W moving head in Martin's popular MAC III family. Capable of projecting a dense, hard-edge beam with mid-air aerial effects, the MAC III AirFX's optical system allows it to adjust from a tight beam to a wash instantly for design flexibility. Beam gobo projections can adjust along the entire zoom range for a diverse variety of mid-air looks and the fully linear zoom gives no visible beam jump from tight to wide, according to the company.

M2GO is equipped with a fast, dual-core processor and answers the demand for a more powerful lighting console in a smaller form. It offers a professional level of features in a portable package and has been developed with cost, ergonomics, feature set, size, and weight in mind, the company says.

M2PC is the complementary control surface for Martin M-PC controller software. With the exact same layout and size as the M2GO, the M2PC can deliver a professional level of features directly from any PC. It is one of the most powerful and affordable PC-based lighting surface controls on the market, according to the company.

The award-winning MAC Aura is the first compact LED moving head wash light with zoom that uses two independent color systems to produce new eye-candy effects plus functions as a highly capable single-lens wash with fully pre-mixed color. The optical system combines multicolor LEDs with backlight aura color mixing to produce an all new visual palette that takes the synthetic look out of LED for truly unique lighting designs, shares the company.

Ideal for easy-to-produce yet high-impact looks, the ultra-compact MAC 101 moving head comes with a low price tag for revolutionary stage, dance floor, and decorative lighting designs, the company says. Since its launch in 2010, the MAC 101 is remarkably small at just 8lbs and simple to use. This versatile wash light fits anywhere and features rapid movement, calibrated colors, and a bright beam. It is also available in three white light versions, where pure white light is needed.

The EC-10 is a high performance, true 10mm pixel pitch LED display panel that teams with Martin's EC-20 to form a fully compatible EC family of LED displays that can be mixed and matched for design creativity, the company says. The EC-10 is 100% compatible with the EC-20 in terms of color, setup, curving, control and processing, even accessories, allowing for seamless, mixed resolution visuals in one system.

The Jem K1 Hazer is Martin's top-of-the line hazer for high performance applications where reliability and serviceability is required, the company says. The Jem K1 Hazer offers substantially optimized fluid consumption and is perfect for rental houses supplying shows, installations in clubs and bars, and for TV studios and the theatre, asserts the company.
