Mega-Lite Announces the Lumen8

Introducing the Lumen8 from Mega-Lite, the newest intuitive and powerful lighting console that provides a very quick learning curve and better control of the user's light show.

With a built-in 27" user-friendly touchscreen, users now have better mobility, quick setup, and better control when managing larger light shows. Using the Lumen8's platform visual cue-list system cues can be easily triggered by touch, go buttons, or cue call-outs via 10-key. With its eight encoders per page, each visual cue-list can easily change the playback speed of different elements. Large speed-intelligent position encoders aid in great control over moving head and moving mirror positions. The console has 32 quick assignable looks per page that allow for look stacking of elements which also doubles as a keyboard for the quick naming of cues. In addition to the eight visual cue list fader, Lumen8 has eight assignable faders that work in high priority mode for control of ambient, house lighting, or proportional trait control. The Lumen8 virtual matrix feature allows any and all color mixing fixtures to become part of an LED matrix where animated images and videos can be transposed and saved as cues. Producing complex chases is effortless due to the real-time effect engine, which simplifies the work of light designers. Generated FX is also available for more detailed FX control. The Lumen8 can operate in both tracking and non-tracking modes as well as pan and tilt tracking mode which enables live tracking of positions only. The console includes a UPS power supply that will power the unit up to 15 minutes in case of power loss. A unique tilted back connector plate allows for simple connection of DMX, Art-Net, extra monitors, power and other USB devices.
