GearSource USA-Based Headquarters Resumes Control of Its Vital European Market

Beginning January 1st, 2018, GearSource USA-based headquarters will resume control of it's vital European territory as the company will part ways with it's long time licensee, Garry Nelsson.

"For more than 10 years. Garry and his team helped establish GearSource as the most trusted brand in used gear throughout Europe, and we are grateful for all of their efforts" says company founder and CEO, Marcel Fairbairn. "However, it's time for us to align the US and European sites and see them operate in unity, without differences or borders."

The sites will remain separate, but will continue operating with the same extensive shared database. GearSourceEurope will be upgraded to include the company's completely redeveloped engine branded G-Suite. G-Suite offers users even more power than ever before. "In developing G-Suite, we believe our technology has once again raised the bar. G-Suite will help us to remain the largest name in Used Gear -- globally" says Fairbairn.

GearSource is executing its plan to continue expanding its unique licensing model, recently opening GearSourceAsia under license. Fairbairn adds "This move is not a departure from our licensing model. In fact, in Europe, we are in discussions with potential micro-sites -- licensed operators who would open GearSource offices in countries where culture or currency necessitates a more exclusive or unique approach."

The company is in the process of adding Europe-based staff while US-based company veterans including Henry Kones, Steve Smith, and Cynthia Viteri, will also provide support to customers and sellers. Soon, a European-based office will be established to centralize operations for both the business development team and operations staff.
