Renkus-Heinz Draws SRO at InfoComm 2015

The Renkus-Heinz booth and demo room were destination points for visitors to this year's InfoComm 2015 convention, with the company's newest products on display at the show.

InfoComm 2015 marked the official launch of Iconyx Gen5 and IC Live ICL-FR Gen5. The next generation of the award-winning Iconyx Series, Iconyx Gen5 is the first steered array to implement UniBeam technology for dramatically more uniform coverage, increased output, and faster setup, as well as new configurations for easier and more cost effective installation.

The show also marked the official release of the completely redesigned RHAON II networking software, with a new and intuitive, device-centric UI, streamlined workflow, and more than 200% faster operation.

Demos of the new Gen5 Series and RHAON II were fully packed throughout the show, with Gen5 training sessions filled to standing room only capacity. Guests were also eager to check out the new VARIAi installed modular point source line array, designed exclusively for the Installed Sound sector. VARIAi brings a new, ultra-streamlined design to VARIA's ingenious hardware, making it a great fit for any application, whether flown vertically, horizontally, or ground stacked.

In addition to a busy booth and fully-packed demo room, Renkus-Heinz carried on a time-honored tradition by hosting their 24th annual consultants' breakfast. Since 1991, attendees have been getting up early to attend this invitation-only event. This year they were treated to presentations by Roseanne Siegal, applications engineer at Autodesk; Roland Hemming of RH Consulting; and Renkus-Heinz senior VP Ralph Heinz.

As part of the annual tradition, guests at the consultants' breakfast were also entered into a drawing to win prizes. This year's grand prize winner was Corey Salvatore of Acentech, who scored a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Elite Edition Quadricopter. Lindsay Wollward of Elert and Associates, and Ray Rayburn of Sound First, LLC, both won a pair of Sensaphonics gift certificates.
