Tyler Childers' Fans in Awe After Surprise Drone Nova Sky Story Flies Over Missoula Show

"Nova Sky Stories has consistently pushed the boundaries of what's possible with drone technology, and storytelling in the sky," says Stein.

On Saturday night, August 24, the skies over Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula, Montana came alive with a one-of-a-kind drone sky story during country music star Tyler Childers' concert. Nova Sky Stories, the global pioneer drone light company supported Childers' show to surprise fans with a true spectacle from the stage to the night sky to celebrate the closing night of his US tour.

"It's been a pleasure to work with the Childers' music family on his final show of the tour. Nova Sky Stories has consistently pushed the boundaries of what's possible with drone technology, and storytelling in the sky. Watching the crowd's reaction to the show was truly unforgettable," says Jeremy Stein, COO of Nova Sky Stories.

Over 1,000 drones took flight during three of Childers' songs, "Cluck Ol Hen," "House Fire," and "Universal Sound." The drone animations were designed by Nova Sky Stories, with direction from Emily Cox of Formation Creative, to paint his story in the sky for the fans packed into the sold-out stadium.

This is the first collaboration between Nova Sky Stories and Tyler Childers, and continues the expansion of a music portfolio through collaborations with events, producers, and artists such as Dead & Company, Dave Matthews Band, Bjork, Odesza, The String Cheese Incident, Texas Eclipse Festival, and more.
