J.R. Clancy's Newest Technology at LDI 2011 J.R. Clancy will showcase its most recent advance in theatrical rigging at Booth #215 in the Exhibit Hall at LDI 2011, October. 28-30 in Orlando, Florida. Clancy's new PowerLine line shaft hoist features a lighter backbone than the standard line shaft, making it easier to install with no reduction in strength or durability, the company says. The new hoist brings users an expanded choice of brake options (electric or overspeed) and drums (3/16" or ΒΌ") to meet virtually any standard application. The PowerLine series includes Clancy's heavy-duty transmissions and universal joints for longevity and safety. "PowerLine has improved durability, easier installation, more options and complete safety features-all at a more affordable price," said Eric McAfee, Clancy domestic sales manager. "The PowerLine is so innovative that it has been nominated for the PLASA Members' Choice Products Award. It's a winner for our dealer partners and their customers. " Also at Booth 215 will be Clancy's SceneControl 500 3D motorized rigging control console. The SceneControl 500 continues to be a leader in its class with features that surpass other controllers in its price range. SceneControl's touch screen control gives users super-fast programming capability, while its 3D display provides instant information on hoist location and movement. Users can run three sets of cues at once, making the SceneControl 500 the ideal controller for even the most complex productions. Visitors to the booth also can view Clancy's informative videos, including a detailed feature on the award-winning programmable chandelier at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Texas, and the comprehensive "Complete Rigging Solutions" program. Product information on the award-winning PowerAssist counterweight lineset controller and other Clancy products will be available as well.
