Bandit Lites Awarded the Parnelli for Lighting Company of the Year It was a spectacular evening at the Anaheim Convention Center at the 21st Parnelli Awards, the premier award show for the live events industry. Bandit Lites was once again named Lighting Company of the Year and Michael T. Strickland accepted the honor. Since 2001, the Parnelli Awards recognize the event industry's brightest visionaries and innovators, on both an individual and company scale. "Bandit is again humbled to be so honored by the industry we love so much," states Bandit founder and chair Michael T. Strickland. "To have our peers bestow this honor upon us is amazing. Everyone at Bandit works tirelessly each day to allow our clients to Experience Excellence, and that is what drives us." "The number of great firms in this industry makes the win even more special," he continues. "Bandit will always go to extra lengths to assure the highest quality of service and people in the industry. And speaking of people, I wish to thank the entire Bandit family for making this happen. Without them, there is no Bandit!" This is the eighth Parnelli Award for Bandit Lites, who has been nominated every year since the awards inception. Bandit has collected 29 Lighting Company of the Year Awards globally since 1993. Following web nominations, the Parnelli Board of Advisors review and tally the totals, selecting up to six nominees in each category. Subscribers to PLSN and FOH magazines (totaling over 40,000) are then able to vote. Bandit wishes to thank Terry Lowe, Greg Gallardo, William Vanyo, and PLSN for making this all possible.
