Showlogix Introduces a Free Multi-Display Video Player SynchronizerShowlogix, a developer of show and media control software for the entertainment market, announces the release of a free version of its show and media control software. The Free Video Sync is designed for video artists and integrators wanting to create video installations with a low budget and simple deployment. Showlogix Video Sync, plays video content across multiple displays, attached to one computer or/and over a local area network. "We have peeled off all the bells and whistles, keeping only the essentials," said Nir Goldhagen Showlogix CTO. "Artists who could not afford this kind of technology, are free to create their dream installation." As each display is limited to one full screen video, image processing is reduced significantly, therefore artists can use low cost computers to achieve their goal. Each of these computers can drive up to eight screens, creating a network of almost unlimited displays with frame-accurate playback. There are no limitations controlling external devices over network. Art-Net (DMX over network) is also not limited. "Over the years, we've had many requests for a low cost version that will synchronize videos for multi-screen playback" says Eli Geffen, Showlogix CEO. "We are very excited to see what creative people will come out with, using this free tool." Showlogix Video Sync is available for download via the Showlogix site at: http://www.showlogix.com/ContentPage.aspx?id=108
