Altinex Appoints Cossey VP of Sales

Altinex has named Grant Cossey to the newly created position of vice president, sales. He commenced work in December 2011 and is stationed at the company's corporate headquarters in Brea, California.

Cossey's responsibilities include spearheading the company's sales operations objectives by contributing market and sales information to strategic initiatives and reviews. He is tasked with completing action plans and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards as part of these objectives. Similarly, he is responsible for sales forecasting in order to meet the company's sales objectives. In addition to analyzing market trends and guiding the company's responses, he will also oversee the company's annual and gross profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, project anticipated sales volume and profit for new and existing lines, and monitor costs, competition, supply, and demand.

Prior to his appointment with Altinex, Cossey served as national sales manager for Presentation Switchers, Inc. where he oversaw sales, dealer training initiatives, sales and marketing materials, and Internet-based training. He has also held the title of senior sales manager for Southland Technology, Inc. In this capacity, he focused on A/V design and sales targeted toward Federal Government business. He was also West Coast business unit manager for Karcher Group, Inc.; West Coast regional manager for Analog Way, Inc.; and regional manager for Anderson Audio Visual, Inc.
