Avolites Gets Ready for UK Debut of Titan v10.1 at PLASA Focus Leeds

Avolites will be on stand N-D01 at PLASA Focus Leeds.

British lighting and video control systems manufacturer, Avolites, is gearing up for the UK debut of its latest lighting control software update, Titan v10.1, at the PLASA Focus expo in Leeds, following the software's hugely successful international showcase at Prolight + Sound 2017 in Frankfurt in April.

Titan v10.1 is now available for users to download for free on all Avolites consoles after the company introduced its updated features at Prolight + Sound. The international showcase was attended by customers and end users from more than 40 countries, as well as top industry journalists including Light & Sound International, TPi, and Lighting&Sound America.

"Our Prolight + Sound product and software showcases have always been extremely well attended and this year was no different," says sales director for Avolites, Koy Neminathan. "The number of high level designers and journalists that attended the Prolight press event, and were eager to learn more after, was a clear sign of how far our software platforms have come. We were excited to explain the benefits of the new features developed in Titan v10.1 and Ai v10 and right under the live demonstration of the displacement mapping feature, which we created for JEWEL nightclub in Las Vegas."

Avolites' team of lighting and video control experts will be on hand at PLASA Focus Leeds, to take customers through the new features of Titan v10.1. The upgrade offers users significant new functionality as well as many fixes and improvements. Scene master mode introduces a new and more refined way to use the console live and BPM master ensures all chases and effects attached to them remain not only at the same tempo, but also in synchronization with the beat and each other. Effects, including key frame shapes, can now be assigned a number of beats per cycle, allowing for more creative control when performing.

"We develop our products alongside our users to ensure the product continues to enable their creative visions," explains Stephen Baird-Smith, Avolites sales manager. "As a result, the whole team loves showing off our new features to current and potential users, especially when the reactions are as good as they were at Prolight + Sound. The new BPM sync and beat division was a hit with all users who perform lights to music. Fans of our live palette time feature -- a long-time Avolites favorite -- were impressed with the new scene master, which takes live improvisation to a new and more sophisticated level."

Speaking further of the brand's significant strides forward, Neminathan says: "Avolites has recently gone through some exciting changes which have allowed the company to adapt and change the way we create, produce, and deliver world-class products. The release of Titan v10.1 and our media server software upgrade, Ai v10, are just the beginning with more focus on reliability. We are seeing a sustained increase in demand and currently have the largest order book in the company's history due to the strides we are taking. We're incredibly excited to gather feedback on the new software from our UK market at PLASA Focus Leeds."

Avolites will also be demonstrating their latest video mapping control software, Ai v10, at the North of England show. The upgrade includes real-time effects generator Notch and video sharing feature Spout as well as new projection mapping tool, MeshWarp and BPM Sync.

PLASA Focus Leeds, will take place at The Royal Armouries, Leeds, May 9 - 10, 2017. Avolites will be on stand N-D01.
