The d&b rendezvous with the Canadian Institute of Theatre TechnologyArriving at booth 410 in Ontario's London Convention Centre between August 16-18, visitors will be presented with two distinctly different loudspeakers from the diverse range available from d&b audiotechnik. First up and brand new to the Canadian market, weighing in at two pounds apiece, will be the duo from the E-Series, the E4 and the E5. These miniatures from the d&b range are designed to offer more flexible solutions to the user. Both loudspeakers are intended for speech and music reinforcement in theatres, conferences, industrial presentations, broadcast studios, as well as their equally useful application in surround sound, delay, or fill requirements. Second, will be the larger and heavier T10 from the T-Series; a passive two-way loudspeaker housing two 6.5" drivers, this box has a completely different trick up its sleeve. With a simple, quick twist of the wrist, the horn can be rotated by 90=degrees to produce accurate point source dispersion, transforming a vertically orientated T10 into a stand-alone full range cabinet. It can be used in line array or point source configuration. The principles that underpin the rationale behind the d&b products will be ably demonstrated by Christopher Kulesa from application support at d&b audiotechnik US, as he presents "Demystifying Audio." Visitors who make the rendezvous on Saturday, August 18, at 2:15pm will be treated to a lively look at the journey of sound from the loudspeaker to the ear in his session. As François Corbin, who heads up d&b audiotechnik in Canada remarks, "Here at d&b we don't believe in unnecessary complications, just solutions that work every time."
