Bandit Lites Makes Big GLP PurchaseIt has been an action-packed summer for Bandit Lites with tours and festivals rolling out at a breakneck speed. To keep up with the incredible demand, Bandit has added an enormous amount of German Light Product fixtures to its touring inventory including JDC1 Strobes, KNV Cubes and X4 Bar 20s. The X4 Bar 20 is out a large number of Bandit tours in including Garth Brooks with Dave Butzler, Widespread Panic with Paul Hoffman, Jason Aldean with Nick Whitehouse and most recently on Robb Jibson's design for Chevelle. The award-winning JDC1 Strobes can be seen on several Bandit systems, including Whitehouse's rig for Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty 360 Tour, John Lucksinger's design for ZZ Top's 50th Anniversary Tour, and Chris Lisle's Chris Young design. "When I saw the preview of the JDC1 a few years ago at LDI I knew it would be a hit," says Jake Tickle, Bandit Lites director of technical services. "GLP did a great job at ticking all of the boxes for what designers wanted in a hybrid strobe. The JDC1 will be an industry standard for years to come." The new KNV system from GLP can be used as a blinder, strobe, pixel mapped surface, washlight, and more, providing designers an entire new realm of looks to explore. Lighting designer Dave 'Gig' Butzler is currently using over 100 of the new KNV Cube on Garth Brooks Stadium World Tour, giving audiences dazzling looks no matter where in the stadium they're seated. "GLP has a way of setting trends, which is not easy in this industry," Tickle adds. "I feel they have done that again with the new KNV series. At first glance you don't expect the power and output this fixture has to offer. The robust and configurable options this series has to offer makes them very versatile." Bandit Lites continuously strives to supply its clients with the world's best service, an effort made easier with amazing support from GLP. "The GLP USA team is always available to answer any questions, provide demo's and fully support any technical challenges," concludes Tickle. "Jim Gregory, Carl Wake, Brian Dowd, and Mark Ravenhill are truly top notch."
